Amen.....The 1st commandment that fulfills the law and the prophets, and where our Christianity hangs, is unfortunately not the main thing we put our heart into...if it fulfills the LAW (which was supposed to make a man righteous before Christ came) then we must change our focus away from trying to be good (the law)and onto loving God and our neighbor. In Gal 5:16 it says that the byproduct of following the lead of the Holy Spirit (love...) is that the carnal nature will not have it's way....so, we actually kill 2 birds with one stone when we put the 1st commandment as our focus.

Thank you Robin for reminding me that my seemingly chaotic life is more normal than my 'insecurities' allow me to believe. Also for reminding me that my Father in heaven loves me and accepts me and is a lot less interested in how things 'LOOK' than how they are in our hearts. sure love you, and am so glad you have such faith and ZEST FOR LIFE!! AMEN SISTA!

What sweet memories we have of a Godly woman. She loved having all the family at her house and lived for the times we were all together. Having lived so close to her, Renee and I were able to help her with Candy making on several occassions. I never will forget her teaching me how to make homemade blackberry jam...She always told me to "watch for the frog eyes when it boils". I couldn't have been more than 12 but I never will forget it - even 30+ years later.

Thanks for bringing good memories up for me! Love you and Love your blogs!!

I felt like you had "read my mail" when I read what you wrote. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for saying it so perfectly. I am so glad to know there are others out there who feel as I do and am looking forward to our homecoming....I pray the Lord to keep you safe and use you as you would be used.
LOVE you in HIM

Thank you for your post!

I have been very interested in this very subject. I have wrestled for quite a while with the idea that maybe I shouldn't be celebrating Christmas. After I read a few articles proclaiming Christmas to be a pagan holiday, I really struggled within myself. Christmas has always been a very important holiday to me. When I spoke to my husband about my "research," he didn't buy it. And I must say that after serious prayer on the matter, the Lord has not led me away from the celebration of Christmas, rather He has given me His peace.

So, thank you for your research and insight on this matter. It is wonderful to see how Jesus fulfills every prophecy that has been given!

This was a beautifully sensitive article. I really appreciated it. My youngest sister had a massive stroke several years ago and much of this applies to her also. Thank you for reminding me how important it is to go beyond the call of duty. Marie
